BAMBOO!!
Rice terraces, Tetebatu, Lombok, Indonesia.
Gunung Rinjani in the background.
Women tending to the crops.
Am I a bad traveler for not remembering the name of this waterfall? I know that in Indonesian....Air Terjun....means waterfall. Air means water in their language...not sure how they say air!!!
Same couple changed into their evening wear.
Village of Tetebatu, Lombok....a small, peaceful, beautiful place.
The Tetebatu Cup, football/soccer tournament.

This young boy was sitting next to me during the football match, he kept looking over my shoulder at the screen on my digital camera. Every now and then he would lean on my arm or lean his arm on my leg....we never really spoke, but he was very cute & sweet, seemed to be without anyone, family or friends, but you never know!
Much out of practice and very behind....going from left to right, first photo is in Tirta Ganga, Bali....a lovely spot in the east....photo of a typical Indonesian funeral procession. Next is me carrying a bag of rice on my head, not all that heavy, this particular bag. Thirdly you see an Australian man marrying an Indonesian woman, another Muslim wedding, this taken on Gili Meno. This is the FOURTH wedding that has taken place RIGHT OUTSIDE where I was staying.....what do you think that means, is it a sign?! Then you have a typical rice field, however the fields in Tirta Ganga are some of the best and the overall area is much less touristy than Ubud. And finally, me standing at the top of a mountainside, near a temple with Gunung Agung in the background. Gunung Agung is the highest volcano on Bali. Gunung means volcano or mountain.
